I live in a really small town and i'm not really interested in many guys my age. The guys who live next to me are 21 and i'm 16. I've known the one since i was a little kid and our parents are really good friends. We started texting and calling each other, hanging out and what not about 6 months ago. Now he wants to start dating and doesn't think anyone will care.... Is he a little too old for me? I really like him but i don't know what others would think or say about it.... what do you think?

We'll, I'm 22 so I can only offer my perspective. At 16, you're kind of old for them. It depends on how hot you are, though. If you're hawt, then they might over look your age and go for it any way. Otherwise, you're too old.

personally i think age doesnt matter. but you are underage so it can cause problems. when i was 16 i liked someone who was much older then me and we waited till i was 18 to start dating because we both knew people wouldnt approve and it would cause problems for both of us.
