how do you know you have herpes? what are the signs besides the bumps? and im talking about on your face, like around your lips. not genitals. thanks

Bumps may be a symptom of herpes, but also a number of other things. If you're worried go see your GP or go to a sexual health clinic.

ok herpes is the same as the cold sore virus, and this is shown by a redness and itchiness around the mouth.

It peels if you scratch it lots, erm, youd know if you had one.

Also, dont scratch too much cos itll spread.
