how to get film from a DVD, that you have filmed on a DVD camcorder onto a computer. Do I burn the film onto the computer, or do I need a firwire cable?

You need a Firewire cable to get it from the Camcorder to the Computer. Then you can burn it from the computer to the DVD if you have a DVD burner.
