Ok, I have a friend that i really like. I have been best friends with her for about 5 years. The problem is that she has been going out with her boyfriend on and off for about 3 years. She says that she loves him, but i just dont believe it. She has told me in the past that she liked me but i never did anything about it back at the time. Im 21 and i have never had this problem in my life. The thing is, i really want to tell her that i like her but im afraid that it might ruin our friendship. I just dont know what to do. We always hang out and do stuff together. If someone has some helpful advice, please share it.

No matter what you decide to do, for sure wait until the stuff with her current on/off boyfriend pans out. Otherwise it will make things more awkward than if you had told her while she was single

Even if that's the case, she probably still has some feelings for this other guy, too. So, in my opinion, you're better off waiting and letting them work out whatever they need to work out first.
