I'm having issues with one of my teaching assistants. He is a ridiculously demanding marker, but only with certain people. I get marks taken off my work for stupid reasons, when other people get high marks when they probably shouldn't. I'm at an A average in all my courses except this one, in which I'm getting a D. I've never gotten lower than a B in my entire university career. I've talked to him about my assignments, and he's really not helpful at all. No matter what I do, it's always wrong, and it's really pissing me off. He isn't accessible, rarely has office hours, and is extremely slow to reply to email. Recently I had an assignment due, and I asked him to help me out (considering that IS his job). He told me to email him, so I did...2 weeks before it was due...and last minute (as in the night before the due date) he told me to change my topic. I redid the entire assignment, handing it in on time, doing EXACTLY what he told me to, and got it back with a terrible mark. I just CAN NOT WIN with this guy. I don't know what to do about this. It's too late to drop the class, too late to switch classes. I could go to the professor, but the prof is just as hard a marker, if not harder. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do?
