Pretty good school. Anything you want, you can pretty much find it. UCLA and Westwood is like a city within itself. Education is okay. The standards are high, but the teaching is sub-par. It seems that a lot of professors don't care too much about teaching, as research is their first priority. In fact, most teachers teach from the book, and I got an A in most of my classes just from reading the book and not going to class (though I don't condone it.)
People here seem to care a lot about their image and how they appear (not just in terms of style, clothes, and face) to their peers. You can get by just being nice to everybody because a lot of people here judge by images. There are also quite a few people who are secure in themselves, but they aren't always "on the radar."
