I did a semester in Germany in highschool (my last year too, and I managed to graduate on time!). I loved it. Infact, I want to go back. I am studying in the next province over from my home town. Not far, but it had the program that I went to college for. Now as far as university goes, I am staying here for one year and then finishing elsewhere. I have no regrets going away. I love living on my own and supporting myself, no matter how tough it gets. You make friends, you grow up, have fun, and explore the world.
Make sure you check ALL the details before entering a program!! I went to Germany and lived with a friend, I didn't go through a program.
