I sent off an application form for this place called QD [it's like this cheap retail store] on the 21st June (sat) so it should have got there by the 23rd (mon). Since then, I haven't heard anything back. Should I just accept that I haven't got the job?

It's really annoying, because I have the grades and the experience [ have worked in 3 places before] .

Unless it got lost in the post. : /

I would call them, and ask if they've looked at your applicaton. I've worked in retail before, and honestly, we don't look at aps till at least 2 weeks later. (But that's here in the states) I would call them.

I'd just leave it and wait and see, chances are they might of found someone else for the job but I think they'll definitely file your application for future reference.

Do you have the number for the recruitment office?

Ring them and say that you just want to confirm that your application reached them.
