alright. so im pretty much in a huge dilema...
im pretty much in love with my exboyfriend/best friend. we dated for 2 years and pretty much did everything together. we still like each other but its very like secretive. we dont do anything together really but just hang out.

i kind of like someone, who i met through my ex, i dont know why i feel like this. like i love my ex, so much. i value everything we had and still have together. the kid who i kinda like, hes fun and new and idk...

i mean. i could just wait around for my ex, but that might never happen again... or i can try something new. i just wish i knew what to do.

I'm in the same boat as you. But instead of maintaining contact with my ex, I cut it off, because he's my ex for a reason. You have to decide whether you and your ex could ever get back together or not. If you decide to move on, the first step would be cutting off contact with him to make the whole process of moving on easier.

Once you're sure you're over him, you could either be friends or just not talk again. Give the new guy a chance if you find him appealing.

i cut off contact with my ex for 6 months. it was hard for the both of us, thats why we started talking again. he acts like he likes me. idk, hes always holding my hand, making me sit on his lap, flirting with me, but i guess im just scared to let it all go completely. =\

One of the worst things to do after you've broken up with someone is to start talking to them again.. old feelings and memories that are supposed to be let go of are revived etc. His actions are misleading.. if you guys are acting this way towards each other, why don't you just get back together? I know it's a tough decision, but you have to make it, or you'll just continue tangling yourself in the web you've made.

hes still in high school and i just graduated...i think if we got back together it would just make it harder since im going to college and he'll still be stuck here...

....good question.
things just got over-whelming.
we spent everyday with each other for 2 years, we kind of grew sick of each other. then we stopped talking and now we talk and hang out nonstop again. its a weird little thing.
