You are talking about child molesters, not pedophiles. Pedophilia is an attraction, molestation is the act--the problem I have is with the inability for people to see the difference here. There are a lot of things I'm sure people would like to do if they had no ethics, but we can do well to restrain ourselves.

I don't have a problem with someone being attracted to small children or thinking about children in a sexual manner.

I do have a problem with them taking action on that, i.e. child molestation. There's nothing wrong with thinking it, though. Imaginary children don't get hurt.
