Do you usually try to wait it out, or do you immediately want to see a doctor? Whether it be muscle pain, illness, possibly sprain, cramps...? --- Personally, I usually try to wait it out. Part of it comes from where I used to live, and it was expensive to see a doctor. I waited a month before I told my dad I was positive I had bronchitus, and I needed a doctor... lol, not to mention I've hurt my foot to the point that I had to alter the way I walked for a week, and it was clearly swollen (putting my shoes on were a pain). Normally, other people have to push me to go or take something like ibuprofen or medicie fo something :). Lol, not sure why... I suppose I'm too lazy to bother :P.

I'm kind of a hypocondriac, so I want to go to the doctor immediatly, my mom can make me think I'm dying in less than 5mins of talking

I try and wait it out a little (although probably not the best thing to do), I'm not a fan of doctors and I'm paranoid about "bad news".

My moms a nurse so she's usually the one to say suck it up. And i haven't been to a hospital in like almost 15 years so it shows.

Wait. I can tell when something REALLY isn't right, & that's when I need to see someone. But that's rare.

I havent been to a doctor in about 2 years. every time something happens my moms like...go to the clinic today and im like...no. but i think i have a pretty strong immune system compared to other people. Doctors just give you antibiotics or whatever. your body needs to be strong eough to fight off sickness on its own. Also to heal its own muscle and handle its own pain.
