I use it here and there. Its ok, But if you dont know how it works, It can be frustrating. but I guess it can be user friendly, I just try to do alot of things on it that I dont completly know how to do.

I've heard it is very user-friendly, and fairly expandable. It's always getting patched because it is open source, and people think your sweet if you use it because few use it. There are MANY online forums if you need help with it. PM if you wanna talk about it.

Ubuntu is bloated, pl;us I don't like the Debian based system and synaptic manager, I am more into portage, and use Gentoo. Ubuntu is good for a beginner Linux user.

Ubuntu is decent for n00bs, as is the one based off of it LinuxMint.
