I was walking and this guy and his daughter ran up behind me after their aunts poodle that got away.

They asked me to help, so I slacked back as they all ran after her, and I thought right, the dog turned around under their legs toward me, I pounced on her.

The guy gave me 20 bucks for catching her! Right place right time, FUCK YES

I typically find about 4-5 dogs per year, and put in the work to return them to their owners.  With one of my old neighbors, I returned his dog 2-3 times a week (sneaky little brat), and with another neighbor, I spent nearly a whole night searching the neighborhood with her for 3 of her 4 dogs (after I returned the first).

I have yet to get a cash reward.  You're one lucky bastard.
