Yeah but most girls are too afraid to do that.

Then you shouldn't be concerned with it; it's absolutely none of your business whether or not a teenage girl decides to have an abortion or not, or even her getting pregnant in the first place, because unless it's your girlfriend or some random girl you knocked up, it doesn't concern you.

But still non the less. In general it is making our country "the greatest in the world" look worse than a third world.

And yet it still doesn't concern you, you have no control over them or their lives, so all you're doing is wasting your time whining about it. Move on and get a life, please.

some people dont want to be old when their kid is 16
and they should at least have a job and a place first
and your dreams or plans dont have to go down the drain yea a baby is some time
but you dont have to wait 16 years to pursue that
you could do it online or whatever so yea

Thanks for the generalizations that we've heard a thousand times, I'll tell it to my mama friends who are in or done college/Uni and we'll have a good laugh about it.

Well then your wasting your time talking to a whiner then. And I do have a life I just choose for it to be online. That is till I get to see my baby again.

Any "Plans" you might have in the future about going to college just flew out your fucking window when you get that little "+" on the test.

Really?  I got pregnant with my daughter when I was under 20, and I'm currently in college.

Most people are not capable of doing that though. Kudos to you.

Actually most people are capable. There are so many government help organizations out there that it's ridiculous.

People who fail at parenthood fail because they choose to fail, not because there was some unconquerable problem that bested them.

In the case of young mothers, most fail because they simply choose to be idiots and make bad decisions and put their wants in front of their child's needs.

Agreed. You're stupid to get yourself pregnant. Especially when you're still living at home and you have no income, and still in HS. It's selfish. If you accidentally get pregnant, I understand.

Ok having a baby is not a bad thing. But having it at a really young age is. I know this the 21st century but back in the 1800's and way back the 16 yr olds could have kids. That is because the familys were rather large. Todays familys arent as large as they use to be. The teenage girls are scared wondering if the guy who banged them up will stay with them. Im not saying some of these girls dont know how to take care of their kids cause SOME do but not all.
