Windows XP Professional... plug & play is amazing.

The only reason that Macs seem "safer" from virus and the like is because hardly anyone uses them, so no one targets them.

Besides, its almost impossible to modify/upgrade a Mac. You just have to open a PC tower and you can change RAM cards, ports, drives, etc.

I own both Windows XP Professional and Linux Ubuntu, but I use Windows mostly... Linux is still in the experimental stages at the moment.

I just got Vista today. It's pretty sweet. I might get Linux though too.

I have Ubuntu 6.1 and XP SP2. I use XP for gaming and internet (can't find modem drivers), and Ubuntu for everything else.
