It's in the top 50 of the US News "National Universities" ranking, and a quarter of students have 1410 or higher out of 1600 on the first two portions of the SAT. While it's acceptance rate isn't 25% or below, or in the low teens or single digits like Top 25 and Top 10 schools, it is pretty good on its own merit, and very good for specific programs.
