You should invest in some earplugs. You can get really comfy foam ones and I use them during the week when I need to get up early the next day. A lot of supermarkets have them in the pharmacy section. Also, if you can sleep with white noise or soft music, you can try listening to an ipod or mp3 player instead of just using earplugs. I know how you feel - we have thirsty Thursdays, and Wednesdays are big now too because athletes can't party 48 hours before their sunday games so they all drink on Wed. Good luck with the sleep!
