I'm considering multiple partners to be people you are having sex with in the same time period - ie. you sleep with Girl/Guy A on Friday and Girl/Guy B on Tuesday. I currently am experimenting with an open relationship, and am feeling strange about it. No one seems too surprised when they hear about it - what is your experience?

I am a college student, I have a girlfriend that I met the third day in, and she's been my only sex partner. I, at first, wanted to go out and experiment more, but I've fallen in love with my girlfriend and I don't even think about it now. Having sex with random bitches might be fun, but it won't make you truly happy. That's one thing that my girlfriend can do for me.

So having multiple sex partners doesn't increase your risk for acquiring AIDS, compared to someone who doesn't have many sexual partners? Interesting, I was unaware of that.
I'm dating two men, one that I've known for two years, and one that I've known for a few months. Yes, I'm sleeping with both of them, and yes they both know it - my relationship is "open," and we use condoms every time. All of us have been tested, by the way.
