Has anyone here ever tried increasing the fiber in their diet in order to help have more regular bowel movements?

Please tell me if it worked or didn't work.

This can include like All Bran, Kaisu, or Activia.

No, but when I went vegan, I started eating a crapload (lol) of fiber. Now, when I'm eating right (i.e. not white pasta with plain red sauce all the time), I poop twice, sometimes thrice a day. And I'm done in less than 5 seconds, usually. No mess on the toilet paper, either.

I knew you all wanted to know. :)

Yeah, and it works.
I did it because I needed to on account of an illness.

I ate All-bran cereal in the morning, snacked on walnuts with prunes, ate lunch bread that had like 5g of fiber in it, took a fiber supplement at dinner, and also ate activa yogurt.

For an average person, that would be too much fiber, and you'd be in the bathroom all day. haha. I did it because I was sick, but it definitely worked.
