wow. ego much? Community Colleges provide great preliminary educations for a lot of people. so they have less student loans than us full time university kids.

get over yourself. a degree is a degree, no one cares where it came from.

Not only that, but family connections are great. :)
So when your relatives own a big business, sometimes you feel like not even going to school knowing you will be set to go.

a degree is a degree, no one cares where it came from.

I'm banking on that not being entirely true.

not if you want to be a teacher. what connections do you need?

or an accountant? no one cares.

if you want to go on wall street, or right history books or be a mover and a shaker sure. but those people arent attending the average community college anyways..and can afford a 4 year university.

CCs are good for saving money before transferring to a four year university. Say you were going to a private four year that cost $35,000/yr. Wouldn't you rather pay less than a third of that the first two years before transferring?

A lot of community colleges have two year plans if you intend to transfer so that you complete all the requirements.

Nope. At least not in Minnesota, anyway. I was going to do two years at a CC, then transfer to University of St Thomas (a private uni). I would have been able to get all the requirements except maybe one religious studies class that was specific to UST.

Unfortunately I had to drop out due to health issues, but transferring is what I would have done if shit didn't happen.
