Subject: What should I do? What kind of person am I?
People think I'm dumb and weird. I'm dyslexic and I never get the best grades in class except art.  I never like to follow tradition, I never dress up for halloween, never wear green on St. Patrick's day, and never really give a shit about proms or birthdays. I just think those things are not important and people discriminate me for that. About my studies, its not because I found it difficult, its just not interesting and the teacher is going way too slow it gets boring. So, I just usually end up daydreaming and start drawing pictures the only thing I like to do and kinda good at it.

When I went to a psychologist, he diagnose me with ADHD and all he really did is try to "hypnotize me" and prescribe me meds. It didn't help at all. I don't really know what I should do anymore, plus I feel like I don't fit into any kind of catergory, I mean like I don't know what group do I belong to. What kind of person I am.

Don't try to make yourself fit into any certain 'group'.  You are who you are.  Just accept that, and move past the stereotypical things that people categorize themselves as.

If the meds aren't helping you, you should probably go back to the doctors.  I mean, you shouldn't continue on taking psychiatric medication if it is possible that you don't have the issue that was diagnosed to you.  There are a lot of people that get bored, and just lose attention while teachers are talking and such.  You just have to force yourself to pay attention.  Try to shut out all of the other things that are going on in your head, and focus on the information your teacher is trying to get you to learn.  Sometimes I have to manipulate my mind and make myself THINK that I'm actually interested in what someone is saying.

I would suggest that you go out and find some friends that appreciate you for who you are.  In my opinion people with quirks are more fun to be around.

It's not really what type of person you are. It doesn't matter what "category" you belong to. It doesn't matter as long as you are comfortable in your own skin. Besides, as a dyslexic you spell pretty well. There's another dyslexic here that I know and he has difficulty spelling stuff. So it means that, well, you are pretty smart.
Even if you never get the best grade in class, you know that as a person who has difficulty learning words you are doing excellently. Seriously, you don't even look like someone who is dyslexic. Puh-lease, you are not dumb. They think you are dumb, but do they even understand the difficulty you have in learning? Do they even care in the first place? They don't understand, so to the heck cares with them and their misunderstood thinking. You know you are not dumb.
Some people simply don't like dressing up and don't really care about what day today is and stuff. But still, I think you should have at least maybe a little respect for like St. Patrick's Day and honour the event...to well, not that you are following what everyone else is doing, but you are paying respect to an old event. Traditions are sometimes pretty important, it tells you where you are from.

Everyone is good at different things, since you think teachers are going too slow(which means you are pretty fast) well, it may get boring but try to listen. Isn't Science pretty interesting? =/ At least that's what I think. To get you interested you can look at more complicated matters on the internet and be interested in the subject, not necessarily the lesson.

Prescribing someone with medicine may help someone physically but not mentally. You should continuing drawing because you like it and it's something you are interested in. But at the same time try to focus in class unless the teacher is really really slow and you know that you understand what she/he's saying, so maybe you can afford to be slightly distracted. Slightly.

It doesn't matter if you don't fit into any kind of category. Why do you want to fit into any kind of category? It just simply states that a lot of people are like you, and you aren't special anymore. I like it sometimes when people say I'm weird, it shows that I'm thinking out of the box, not doing what everyone else is doing and I'm creative, fresh?

So don't think that if you don't fit into any category it's not good. Well, it's not good, it's great.

Good luck! If you want someone to talk to you can message me.
