Subject: I have not gotten my period for 7-8 weeks
I have not gotten my period for 7-8 weeks now, I have taken 3 at home pregnancy  tests and a blood test from my doctor. all negative, so I'm confused, I've never pissed a period. I'm on the pill and ive never been more than one day late. I can't figure out what is going on with me.  could a blood test be taken too early??

There are many reasons why a period can be delayed, for example weight loss or gain, over exercising, not eating enough, eating too much or stress. Worrying about being pregnant can also cause a period to be delayed. Try not worrying about it for a couple of weeks and if your period still hasn't come, see your doctor and explain your worries.

Skipped periods happen to a lot of people for a whole variety of reasons, so try not to worry about it for a few weeks.

I don't know about whether it would be too early to test for pregnancy, but if you do go and see your doctor again in a couple of weeks I am sure he/she would be able to reassure you or find out the cause.

All the best and try not to worry! =)

Hey,
That's not that uncommon. Tons of girls miss there periods or they become irregular when they are going through changes or are just plain old stressed out. The best thing to do is to just relax because that happens to me a lot. If you aren't stressed and you really think something serious is wrong visit your doctor. Talk to him and tell him that all your pregnancy tests have been negative. He should understand and talk to you about what could possibly be wrong.
Hope I helped,
4irate.
